The IET owns city-centre venues in London, Glasgow and Birmingham which are available for hire by corporate and other clients. This page also lists IET offices throughout the world.
IET Venues - London, Glasgow, Birmingham
The IET owns three centrally-located conference and meetings venues in these major UK cities. Each venue features exceptionally well-appointed meeting spaces (including a large lecture theatre) with the latest audio-visual equipment along with all associated facilities.
IET London: Savoy Place is an ideal central London location, just a five minute walk from Covent Garden and well served by tube and mainline rail stations.
IET Glasgow: Teacher Building is an impressive, purpose-built conference centre in the heart of Glasgow, with 14 well equipped and extremely flexible suites.
IET Birmingham: Austin Court is an excellent meeting venue right in the heart of Birmingham, adjacent to the NIA and the ICC.
Offices
The IET has a number of offices in the UK and world wide. Their aim is to promote the work of the IET around the world as well as providing facilities for members.
Michael Faraday House
Most of the IET's staff are located thirty miles north of London, UK, in Michael Faraday House, Stevenage.
China representative office
In Beijing, near the China World Trade Centre, Chinese engineers are linked to the IET's worldwide knowledge exchange network by the China representative office.
Inspec Asia Pacific office
From Hong Kong, promotion of the IET's Inspec database and facilities and support for members' activities in the region are provided by the Asia Pacific Representative Office.
IET India office
The office, located in Raheja Towers, aims to raise awareness of IET and its products throughout India and provides a conference room, which the Local Networks can use. It will also be used for video conferencing to connect with IET offices across the globe.
