Why am I getting "Login Security Warning"?
Login to the Institution web sites use a secure connection to transmit and verify passwords. Most Web browsers are set by default to display an alert box when users enter and leave a secure connection. These warnings are not a cause for concern and do not reflect poor security, despite the possibly alarming wording of the second alert box.
The appearance and content of the alert boxes varies between browsers, but examples from two common browsers are shown below. Some browsers may also ask users to review and accept a site security certificate.
